This album contains one hour of original and exciting new music from the Jazz Kitchen. While the album stays within the tradition of straight-ahead jazz, the individual tunes explore some of the diversity within the genre, from swing to soul jazz, and be-bop to Brazilian.

The core group of musicians includes Robin Lewis on seven-string guitar, Chuck Metcalf on double bass, and Curt Moore on drums. Also joining the group on this recording are Roger Glenn on flute, and Damien Masterson on chromatic harmonica.
